Some Work in Progress...

These are my half done figures for Digital/Drawing Class or Visual Communication or whatever.  Just some proof that I'm a legit artist/designer (kind of).  The designs are from a collection I did based on the internal and external qualities of trees, specifically the bark and trunks.  I was inspired by the smooth rings on the inside contrasted with the rough bark on the outside.  I looked at the peeling of the bark, by which the internal becomes the external and the smooth is juxtaposed with the rough.  The variety of fungi and things that grow on bark of trees were also inspiring.  Loggers and logging were also explored in this collection, for their role in exposing the internal to the external, as well as for clothing references.

The Best Mustache Ever

This guy has no idea how cool he is.  He just needs an overpriced fleece and some Gucci loafers... right?  Right?!

 J.Crew S/S 2012.  Quintessential Pattagucci: Lookin' chic but still rockin' the windbreaker.   A+ J.Crew.  I would write more but I am exhausted after just getting back from Seattle for the weekend.
